Quitutes e Batuques is an international popular culture festival that brings to the population the result of interactions between Brazilian and international artists.
After 3 editions with artists from France, Mali, Guinea Conakry, Senegal, Holland and Suriname, the project returns in an online edition, promoting the interaction of São Paulo cultural agents with South Americans. In its 4th edition, Quitutes & Batuques has resources from the Federal Government, the Ministry of Tourism, the Special Secretariat for Culture, the Aldir Blanc Law, the Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Department of Culture and Creative Economy.

For a month, using different methodologies, the selected professionals will meet virtually to perform a common cultural work project. As a result, we will have the exhibition of collaborative projects linked to the popular culture of their countries. The creation process and result will be shown through an online Festival, which will take place from April 20 to 25, 2021, through our social networks on YouTube and Facebook.
The participating aesthetic languages ​​will be: audiovisual, performing arts, visual arts, music and food culture.
